The partnership will focus on developing a new green nitrogen biofertilizer, which has the potential to revolutionize agriculture and help address the global food and water crisis. Our green nitrogen can be used as a natural fertilizer to improve soil fertility, increase crop yields, and reduce the need for synthetic fertilizers that are harmful to the environment.
The partnership with Université du Domaine du Possible is part of Nereid’s ongoing efforts to develop its sustainable agriculture application and concept (learn more here) that leverage its expertise in desalination and water management. The company will then demonstrate the potential of its technology in agriculture through pilot projects in arid regions around the world, where water scarcity is a major obstacle to food production.
