Nereid Water has been awarded the innovation prize at the Smart & Sustainable Marina Conference held at the prestigious Monaco Yacht Club , having been selected from 600 applications. 50 start-up companies were initially selected by Blumorpho, and Nereid emerged as the ultimate winner. 26 countries were represented at the event, which also included investors, developers, and with the exceptional presence of HH Albert II sovereign Prince of Monaco and the Prince Albert II Foundation.
Nereid desalination technology is an innovative market disruptor, in not relying on any fossils fuel, nor releasing brine into the ocean, allowing us to fully meet our sustainable development, circular economy and climate change objectives. Amongst the broad range of possible sustainable applications of our cutting-edge technology, its critical and novel value to yachting and eco-friendly marina water management attracted the unanimous vote of the International jury (relive our live pitch below).
